Recently, the blog hit a few milestones. While I don’t blog to get publicity (but for my own enjoyment), I’m certainly happy to see if the blog’s going well.

First, and most of all, I’m very proud of the community gathered here. My biggest fear when I started the blog was that there’ll only a comment or two, if none at all, like seen at 90% of other blogs. I’ve been proved wrong however, with the amazing number of 20+ comments at every post, making it over 5,000 comments total (as of today). These keep me going, so thank you for every single one of them ;)

A few other numbers for those who’re insterested in this kind of stuff: monthly pageviews are getting close to 150,000, the number of people who visit the blog every day is about 1,500, the Facebook page reached 1,000 members, Twitter’s at 350+, Hypem counts ~250 people, email subscriptions peak at 160, there’s around 60 Tumblr followers and also 60 RSS subscribers.

    I love this site, have been visiting every day for around 12 months now, a classmate in college showed me it last year and I have been recommending it to my friends who like ‘different’ music since. I hope it doesnt change if it gets a lot more popular though

    I’m using safari so my homepage is top sites but Musigh.com is one of my six top sites and always is the first thing I click to check if there are new posts. As u can see, everybody loves what you are doing, we won’t let you down. Hope that you won’t let us down by spamming with ads, however, I wont be mad at you if you’d drop like 1 or 2 ads at the left or the right part of the page, as long as there aren’t soo many ads that the page loads slower etc.
