I tried to avoid posting about jj until now, because I have a certain a love-hate relation to their music — there are songs so good that they make a smile every time I listen to them, but then others are so mushy that I can’t help but hit skip after a half minute or so. Anyway, they released a free mixtape recently, so I guess now’s the time to decide for yourself (if you haven’t already). You can buy their first LP here, which “Ecstasy” is from by the way.

    @Kiran: I don’t even have iTunes installed :> But I wouldn’t bother with a library anyway, because it’d be a pain to clean up and tag ~25,000 songs.

    Dude….honestly what the hell (!) is this? Like jj – Ectasy (!!!) I’ve never actually disliked anything on your blog Musigh, but these two songs just SUCK! Man. My first heartbreak rate. At least you got the rating system spot-on…these song selections really break my heart on how sucky they are. :P

    I might be in the minority here but I really enjoy jj I prefer ‘Ecstasy’ then ‘Still’. Thanks for pointing out that they came out with a free mixtape :)

    jj are the fucking don. ‘Still’ and ‘From Africa To Malaga’ are my favourites. Their second album was pretty shite though. ‘My Way’ is pretty good too, but I don’t think it was on any of their albums.

    @Neon071: No it is not. The only channel I had on YouTube was ‘musigh’, which is suspended for a year now. As a rule of thumb, if something isn’t linked here from the blog and claims to be ‘musigh’, it’s fake.
