The release of Lykke Li’s new album is getting near, and so it was put up for streaming starting from yesterday. I must say it had me rather disappointed, as the songs lack much of the charm and innocence “Youth Novels” had, giving the album a more mainstream and less unique feel.

Opinions might differ though, so go on and decide for yourself. My favorite song is “Get Some” by far (highlighted below), you can pre-order the album here.

I enjoyed the unique sound, but disliked the repetitive nature of each of the songs. I’ve had “I Follow Rivers” stuck in my head all day! Not really a bad thing but I had to come back to listen some more.
